CORE BADGES are obtained upon joining or moving on from the Troop, or for time spent in the Scouting movement.

ACTIVITY BADGES which allow Scouts to show progress in existing or new activities.

CHALLENGE AWARDS are part of the Balanced Programme within the whole Pack or group community. Scouts will gain their badges while taking part in normal weekly Scout meetings.
